Married Metals Turquoise Shield Earrings
Hand-hammered silver and copper surround turquoise in a classic southwest combination. These dangling earrings are each unique due to the hand-crafted process. The raw texture of the hammering process juxtapose against the rounded surface. The metals are left in their natural state, the copper will deepen in color over time as it matures, further enhancing the organic quality of the earrings.
Approximately 1″ diameter. Sterling silver earring wire. Signed on the back.
Pearl in Lotus Seed Pod Ring
A pearl nestles in on of the lotus seed openings in this hand-carved silver ring. The silver reflects light like liquid, as its carved surface is not entirely flat, but rather filled with subtle organic curves. Modern shadowbox.
Seeds represent promise, potential, and growth. This ring is a sweet reminder of the possibilities we all possess.
Approximately 3/4 inches diameter, 1/4 inch in depth. One-of-a-kind. Signed on the inside of the ring.
Neptune Rising – Carved Silver Ring
There is an urgency to Matagi’s designs. The carvings appear to have rapid movement, like a fast flowing stream swirling and eddying over and around stones and branches, or the splash and froth of water as an ocean wave curls upon itself. I am amazed that Matagi’s bold carvings create a sense of fluidity in solid silver. His design sense is both skilled and intuitive. — Holly Troy

Bronze Turtle Pendant My little turtle pendant in bronze. Very cute on an omega necklace. Turtle hangs head’s up. Turtle represents the earth, it’s back is divided into four directions, and the spiral is a symbol for life and spirit. This piece is about the size of a nickel.
